Design Thinking Leadership - Language and Habits for Success and Performance

About this Course

Everyone works with other people, be it within one’s own team, with other colleagues in different functional groups, with partner organisations and businesses, with contractors and clients.  Design Thinking is emerging as an essential 21st century leadership skill because the ability to motivate and influence others to improve outcomes through providing better service, improved products, work processes and/or brand recognition is a leadership quality recognised by the management of corporations and organisations.

As a method of enquiry, Design Thinking integrates both the artistic approach of design, where the components and bits and pieces of a solution come together in a seemingly hap-hazard manner but always orienting towards the solution (sometimes called solution based approach) as well as the scientific analytical, step-by-step methods of research (sometimes called problem-based approach).
