• Appreciate the impact of the changing environment especially brought about by environmental challenges, competition and technology on the organization • Define the current state (performance data, systems, people & culture) and assess the capability for change • Create the change vision, objectives and goals • Develop the strategy, structure, and action plans based on the vision, objectives & goals • Build support for change and overcome hindering forces • Assess the people factor in change based on new research in the neuroscience of behavior • Determine appropriate communication and influencing strategies for inspiring change • Identify effective strategies for sustaining change • Understand the current research on change management and what works and what doesn’t work to transform organizations
