About this Course

This programme provides a direction for aspiring students  the essential skills to manage people and activities, and the art of developing people. It features the latest Human Resource concepts for personal leadership development and enable organizations to meet the fresh challenges that are part of a rapidly changing business environment. 

Objectives and Expected Outcomes

At the end of the programme student has covered and capable of:

  • Improve management knowledge and abilities at a higher level
  • Leading and managing organisation change
  • Improvement in personal development for career advancement
  • Progress to second year degree or
  • ABE graduate Diploma level 6

  • Organizational Behaviour
  • Human Resource Management
  • Human Resource Development
  • People Planning and Resource Employment Relation
  • Managing the Customer Relationship
  • Quantitative Methods for Business

Assessment

  • Written Exams
  • Each unit will be assessed via a three examination, set and marked by ABE. 

Eligibility for Graduation

Students are expected to attain a minimum of 40% in order to pass each examination paper. 

Students who have successfully passed all required modules and achieve minimum average score of 50% will be eligible for graduation.  

Certification

Students who have completed and passed all the required modules will be awarded

ABE Level 5 Diploma in Human Resource Management (Higher)

Progression Path 

ABE has agreement with following universities to allow its level 5 Diploma holders on to various stages of relevant degree courses: 

  • James Cook University, Australia
  • University of Buckingham, UK
  • Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Age:18
  • Academic Level: Any ABE Level 4 Diploma/ any Level 3 qualification or equialent
  • Language Proficiency : GCE ‘O’ level English /IELTS 5.0 or equivalent        

Course Duration / Mode of Delivery

(Total 12 Months)

12 months of day class Institutional Studies delivered via;

  • Theory lectures
  • Monday to Friday (5 hours per day)
