About this Course

You will learn how to structure curriculum and training for learning. Compared to the module on adult learning theories where learner-centricity was the lens used to examine the learning process, an information-centric lens will be used in this module where the characteristics of the curriculum and in particular of the learning outcomes will be the focus. The module provides an in-depth understanding of how training can be designed and developed to engage adult learners through activity-based learning. Finally, the module also examines the global trends and current practices in adult and continuing education.
