About this Course
The WSQ Certificate In Beverage Operations competency programme is designed to equip students with knowledge and application skills in workinf in F&B environment and be able to apply them in workplace especially in the bar/beverage areas.
*Candidates looking to upgrade themselves and receive certification, existing staff, supervisor and/or Team leaders in the Bar,Beverage areas are advise to attend this course

Upon completion of the program, candidates would receive :
- WSQ Certificate in Beverage Operations
- WSQ Statement of Attainment for all Modules completed
Entry Pre-requisites :
- WPLN 4 / IELTS 4-5 / Secondary without GCE N/O Level pass
- Ability to read, write and interpret simple instructions in English/Mandarin
- Ability to listen and speak simple phrase of English/Mandarin
Course Structure :
Compulsory 5 core Modules and 2 Elective Modules (13credits)
- Follow F&B safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures
- Maintain F&B Service Environment
- Prepare and Serve Coffee and Tea
- Prepare Non-alcoholic Beverages
- Interact with and Serve F&B Guest
- Provide Wine service
- Study and Serve Wines
*Additional Elective Modules
- Provide safety and security for Guests
- Maintain Displays
Delivery Methods and Assessment
Training Delivery is a combination of lectures, role-plays, discussion, case studies and practical exercises.
Assessment is set in a real or simulated environment via questioning (oral/written). Role-play and practical performance
