About this Course

This programme will enable individuals to identify the global trends and changes impacting the workplace, apply lifelong learning to adapt to changes for sustained employability, and share knowledge and skills to enhance productivity and effectiveness in a diverse workplace.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Operational and front-line staff who need to know how to adapt to change in a diverse workplace

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Participants will experience and learn to:

  1. Access available sources of information to identify global trends and interpret information that impacts one’s employability and job role
  2. Identify the types of expectations and adjustments required in current or future job situations to stay employable and competitive in the global context
  3. Identify the types of competencies required in current or future job
  4. Identify gaps in own competencies, determine training and development needs and select suitable learning opportunities to match personal learning styles
  5. Transfer skills and knowledge acquired from training and development to the workplace and measure performance improvement as a result of training and development
  6. Demonstrate the ability to coach others using transferable skills
  7. Identify the implications of diversity at the workplace and  familiarise with approaches to working in a diverse environment
  8. Identify the impact of change on one's self and one’s job and adopt appropriate techniques to respond to change

STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT

Upon completion, participants will receive an SOA - Adapt to Change from WDA.
