About this Course

Aims:

1. To explore games used in theatre suitable for use in a preschool classroom

2. To help how theatre games can help in the children’s physical and mental development through the inherent qualities of the games used in the theatre, such as voice projection, communication skills, physical coordination, strength building, team building, social and spatial awareness, confidence, etc.

3. To explore the outcome and effectiveness of different games this will help in the selection of appropriate games for different purposes

Objectives:

1. Participants will have a collection of games (for different purposes) to be used for their classrooms.

2. Participants will be able to choose appropriate games to suit different purposes.
