Association for Early Childhood Educators (Singapore)

About Association for Early Childhood Educators (Singapore)

In 1999 two associations with a common mission, the Pre-School Teacher’s Association of Singapore (PSTA) and the Association for Child Care Educators (ACCE) inaugurated in 1975 and 1990 respectively, merged to form the Association for Early Childhood Educators (Singapore) – AECES. The aim of this merger was to enable the Association to work more effectively towards promoting quality programmes for young children and their families. Since then, AECES has worked diligently to carve out its mission through constant and continuous professional development for early childhood educators. AECES as an organisation is a resource for the community because over the years, it has nurtured many early childhood professionals who now act as resource persons.
