About this Course

This unit specifies the competencies required of an individual to develop a competency-based facilitated training programme.

Primarily, people who require such competencies are those who would be involved in designing and developing a competency-based facilitated training programme. It uses a set of competency standard and/or assessment plan as its basis. This programme is also applicable to people who are developing programme that is of non-competency-based. In relation to the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), this unit forms part of the qualification for ACTA (Facilitated Learning).


Course Duration


Total Training Duration: 28 hours (including 1 hour assessment)

Length of course duration: 3.5 Days


Assessment

Participants are required to attend an hour of assessment.

  • Define parameters of the training programme
  • Design the training programme
  • Develop the training programme
  • Evaluate the training programme
