About this Course

This programme provides a direction for aspiring students the essential skills to manage marketing activities. It teaches Students about the principle of marketing management and the management process responsible for identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer needs profitably. It also improves their management knowledge and abilities at a higher level.

Objectives and Expected Outcomes

At the end of the programme student has covered and capable of:

  • Improve  management knowledge and abilities at a higher level
  • Leading and managing organisation change
  • Planning marketing policy and communication and managing customer relationship
  • Progress to second year degree or
  • ABE graduate Diploma level 6

  • Marketing Policy, Planning and Communication
  • The Business Environment
  • Organizational Behaviour
  • Managing the Customer Relationship
  • Principles of Marketing
  • Marketing Information Systems
  • Economics for Business
  • Quantitative Methods for Business Management

Assessment

  • Written Exams
  • Each unit will be assessed via a three hours examination, set and marked by ABE. 

Eligibility for Graduation

Students are expected to attain an overall minimum of 40% in order to pass each examination paper. 

Students who have successfully passed all required modules  will be eligible for graduation.  

Certification

Students who have completed and passed all the required modules will be awarded

ABE Level 5 Diploma in Marketing Management (Higher)

Progression Path 

ABE has agreement with following universities to allow its level 5 Diploma holders on to various stages of relevant degree courses: 

  • James Cook University, Australia
  • University of Buckingham, UK
  • Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 18
  • Academic Level: Any ABE Level 4 Diploma/ Any Level 3 Qualification or equivalent
  • Language Proficiency : GCE ‘O’ level English /IELTS 5.0 or equivalent        

Course Duration / Mode of Delivery

(Total 12 Months)

12 months of day class Institutional Studies delivered via;

  • Theory lectures
  • Monday to Friday (5 hours per day)
