About this Course

Programme Overview 

WSQ Provide Specialty Coffee Service is a Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) accredited program upon completion of which, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) in WSQ Provide Specialty Coffee Service. 

The objectives of WSQ Provide Specialty Coffee Service are:

• To equip the learner with the foundations of preparing and serving various specialty coffees.
  
• To enable the participants to apply the learned skills to the workplace.
  
• Certify the participants who have required competencies in the WSQ unit WSQ Provide Specialty Coffee Service.  
  

PROGRAMME CONTENT

• Describe and recommend coffee products.
  
• Grind and brew coffee.
  
• Prepare and serve espresso.
  
• Prepare and serve cappuccino and latte. 
  

IMPORTANT TO NOTE

Enrolment is subjected to availability and incomplete application will not be processed.

The programme is conducted in English and proficiency in the language is a requirement.

Required Attire:

   1. White collared shirt

       (No see-through, sleeveless, revealing, designs or patterns)

   2. Black Pants

       (No jeans, leggings, jogging or cargo pants)

   3. Black covered shoes 

       (No slippers, high heels or sports shoes)

   4. As per Academy's grooming policy, hair / head accessories such as 

       caps, hats or any other headgears are not allowed.

Failure to comply to grooming standards will result in non-participation.

FUNDING

1) WDA programme fee funding

Enjoy up to 90% WDA programme fee funding for all Singaporeans and SPRs who are eligible for our Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Programmes.

2) Workfare Training Support (WTS) Scheme - 95% Programme Fee Funding 

Eligible for:

• All employed Singaporeans who are eligible for our WSQ Certified programmes
  
• 35 years old and above
  
• Monthly income of not more than S$1,900
