About this Course

This unit covers the discussing and agreeing upon lighting requirements with a client for the purposes of a live televised event. The skills include determining the client¿s lighting needs; negotiating with the client; developing a lighting design/plan; visiting the venue to determine what is required in order to finalise the lighting design/plan. It also includes contracting the appropriate resources and ensuring that the appropriate lights and equipment are used and positioned for the production. It also covers addressing any issues and making changes to the lighting design/plan as the production changes.
