About this Course
Programme Overview
This programme is for industry professionals^ who want to learn the fundamentals of Sous Vide food production and process, safety and sanitation, nutritional information and culinary operational benefits of Sous Vide in food service industry.
It is a Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) accredited programme, upon completion of which, the participants will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) in WSQ Demonstrate Sous Vide Method.
The objectives of the programme are:
- To train the participants in assembling equipment and preparing ingredients suited for the sous vide cooking method.
- To teach them the sous vide cooking method and how to properly serve sous vide cooked food.

- Fundamentals of Sous Vide Food Production
- Nutritional information, Safety and Sanitation, and Culinary Benefits (pros & cons) of Sous Vide
- Sous Vide process
- Operational benefits of Sous Vide in the Restaurant and Food Service Industry
Important to Note
- Enrolment is subject to availability and incomplete application will not be processed.
- The programme is conducted in english and proficiency in the language is a requirement.

Funding
1) WDA Programme Fee Funding
Enjoy up to 70% WDA programme fee funding for all Singaporeans and SPRs who are eligible for our Continuing Education Module (CEM) programmes.
2) Workfare Training Support (WTS) Scheme - 95% Programme Fee Funding
Eligible for:
- All employed Singaporeans who are eligible for our WSQ Certified programmes
- 35 years old and above
- Monthly income of not more than S$1,900
