About this Course
Programme Overview
Explore the world of moist heat cooking and master the techniques of poaching, simmering, boiling, blanching, steaming, stewing and braising applied in different ethnic cuisines.
It is a Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) accredited programme, upon completion of which, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) in WSQ Demonstrate Basic Moist Heat Cooking Methods.
Important to Note
Enrolment is subject to availability and incomplete application will not be processed.
The programme is conducted in english and proficiency in the language is a requirement.

Required Attire:
1. White collared shirt
(No see-through, sleeveless, revealing, designs or patterns)
2. Black Pants
(No jeans, leggings, jogging or cargo pants)
3. Black covered shoes
(No slippers, high heels or sports shoes)
4. As per the Academy's grooming policy, head / hair accessories such as
caps, hats or any other headgears are not allowed.
Failure to comply to grooming standards will result in non-participation.
Funding Eligibility:
1) WDA Programme Fee Funding
Enjoy up to 90% WDA programme fee funding for all Singaporeans and SPRs who are eligible for our Continuing Education Module (CEM) programmes.
2) Workfare Training Support (WTS) Scheme
95% Programme Fee Funding from WTS Scheme
Eligible for:
- Culinary or Food and Beverage industry professionals.
- All employed Singaporeans who are eligible for our WSQ Certificate programmes.
- 35 years old and above.
- Monthly income of not more than S$1,900
