About this Course

This 1 day course aims to provide learners with the fundamental knowledge and application skills in processing payments successfully. They will learn how to process various types of transactions efficiently and with minimum downtime.

This course will benefit F&B service staff who are serving at the front of house as well as F&B managers (so that they can train their service staff better).

Course Objectives

Through our experiential classroom training, learners will have acquired the fundamental knowledge and application skills to process payments in the workplace. 

This includes:

  • Setting up cash stations
  • Posting and issuing bills to guests
  • Processing payments
  • Correcting errors
  • Closing out cash

Assessment

At the end of the module, learners are required to complete a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes of summative assessment, comprising Role Play and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) assessment. Upon successful completion of assessment, they will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA).

Upon successful completion of assessment for the rest of modules under the WSQ Certificate in Food & Beverage Operations, they will be awarded a WSQ Certificate in Food & BeverageOperations.
