About this Course

The Intermediate Certificate is the second step in ACCA’s Foundations in Accountancy suite of qualifications. This suite of qualifications provides multiple entry routes to accountancy exams, allowing students with minimal qualifications an opportunity to be tested at an Intermediate level and be rewarded with an Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting (Papers FA2 & MA2).

COURSE SYLLABUS

To achieve the Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting, you will need to register as a student in Foundations in Accountancy with ACCA and complete:

  • Two exams: Maintaining Financial Records (FA2) and Managing Costs and Finances (MA2)
  • A professionalism and ethics module called Foundation in Professionalism

*Note: If you have already completed the Foundation in Professionalism at the Introductory Certificate level, you don’t have to complete it again.

COURSE ASSESSMENT

You will be given a mock test per paper during course of study, as well as regular homework assignments and in-class exercises.

AWARD OF CERTIFICATE

The Certificate is awarded by ACCA.
