The Preparatory Course for ACCA gives students an excellent start in core accountancy skills and can help them to gain more specialist knowledge to build a successful career in finance. Students who study the ACCA may also choose to gain a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.

COURSE SYLLABUS

ACCA consists of 16 papers, divided into four modules.

• Knowledge - 3 papers
  
• Skills – 6 papers
  
• Essentials – 3 papers
  
• Options – 2 papers (from a choice of 4)

Student are required to complete all papers from the Knowledge, Skills and Essential modules sequentially and 2 out of 4 papers from the optional module.

COURSE ASSESSMENT

You will be given a mock test per paper during course of study, as well as regular homework assignments and in-class exercises.

AWARD OF CERTIFICATE

The Certificate is awarded by ACCA.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

We can offer you various entry points on to the ACCA Qualification, depending on your previous academic qualifications.

Professional Examination Route (PER)

• 18 years old and above
  

Plus any of the following:

• Two GCE 'A' Levels and three GCE 'O' Levels or their equivalent (in five separate subjects including English and Mathematics), or
  
• Polytechnic Diploma, or
  
• Recognised University degree, or
  
• LCCI - Passed three Level 3 subjects (or a Group Diploma) plus two Level 2 subjects (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics, or
  
• Preparatory Course for ACCA - Diploma in Accounting and Business

Graduate-entry route 

Relevant degree holders from ACCA-accredited institutions may be exempted from all nine exams within the Fundamentals level and register directly at the Professional level. Degrees with some relevance may also qualify for exemptions.

English Language

ACCA classes are conducted in English. If you do not have:

• IELTS score of 5.5 and above
  
• TOEFL IBT score of 74 and above or its equivalent
  
• Proof of minimum 12 years of education with English as a medium of instruction
