About this Course
Love it or hate it, let’s resign to the fact that politics is here to stay. Can’t wish away and neither can we run away. This is the real world. Running away could mean leaving the frying pan and getting into the fire. Welcome to the world of office politics 101.
In the real world, there are political dynamics at play at the workplace. The question that begs an answer is, how do we deal with all these “acids”, at the workplace and win? This course is precisely designed for that purpose. To help staff at all levels, to understand the “art of war”, and apply winning strategies at the workplace. Understanding covert forces at work and key strategies as to when to fight, when to flight, collaborate or to compete. Understanding, principle strategies, “it’s better to lose a battle and win the war then winning the battle but losing the war”.
Office politics 101 today is intricately deceptive, hidden, complicated and the consequence could be diabolical, if not managed with a deft hand. Have we all not seen the ugly side of, “networking”? Outward collaboration but inwardly there are dark forces of covert competition at play.
In whatever form it appears, be it collaborative networking or covert agenda driven, we are never immune and can all fall prey to the forces of manipulation and suffer the consequence of foul play, if we remain unguarded.
However with the training programme of heightened awareness and informed information, learners would be battle ready to meet these challenges. The learners at the end of the programme, would be equipped with skills and strategies to manage the office politics 101 in the real world.
