- Develop mould design using CAD/CAM system.
- Create multi-axis part program for Multi-axis Machining Centre and Milling Machine (HSM) using CAD/CAM system.
- Set up and operate Multi-axis Machining Centre and CNC High Speed Milling Machine.
- Manufacture medical components.
- Assemble injection mould.
- Perform mould setting and testing.
- Perform quality checks.

Nitec in Medical Manufacturing Technology graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics.
Nitec in Medical Manufacturing Technology with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 and above may apply for progression to the Technical Engineer Diploma in Machine Technology course conducted by ITE in collaboration with Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS), Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Nitec in Medical Manufacturing Technology graduates with a GPA of 2.3 and above may also apply for progression to related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE.
