This course provides information about contemporary coaching methodology and practice. One of the most valuable lessons you will discover is that these coaching basics are universal in nature and description.
This course is designed to provide the student with a conceptual blueprint for teaching sport and the fundamentals of sport coaching. The development of a personal coaching philosophy will be derived from a process of consciously assessing critical issues and developing a clear rationale for holding to one particular approach as opposed to another.
COURSE GOALS
The goals of the course are to analyze, synthesize, understand, apply, and discuss various aspects of sports coaching including:
- Analyze the theoretical framework necessary for sound ethical and moral reasoning
- Apply the concept of sound ethical and moral reasoning relating to the seven areas
- Understand the application of ethical and moral reasoning to three areas closely related to sport
- Summarize ethical and moral reasoning, moral and immoral values, application of moral reasoning
- Apply moral reasoning in sport science
- Provide and forecast future events in sports
AWARD
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded:
Certificate in Sports Marketing by the United States Sports Academy, ‘America’s Sports University”.
COURSE DURATION
The course may be completed in 8weeks (40 hours) .
Assessment Methods
Students will sit for a written examination at the end of each module.
