About this Course
Changing landscapes, technology and shifting demands are impacting the way and speed in which Training Organisations are evolving. As business strategies evolve, execution of these strategies plays an equal role in ensuring the future success of the business. This programme seeks to impart learners with the skills to align major operating processes of a training business with its strategic perspectives and intent for developing an operational process implementation action plan involving key stakeholders. Learners will be exposed to best practices, and learn how to integrate these best practices into their organisation’s processes.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide opportunities for new training management personnel to acquire an overview of CET system and review best practices for integration with current organizational processes, and to develop the operational management skillsets of training management personnel.
The workshop will be instructor led and conducted through a 2-day programme. At the end of the 2 days, participants will be assessed on their understanding of the concepts through a submission of an operational process implementation action plan.
Who should attend
Middle Management, with 2 years of experience in the training industry, who are involved in the day-to-day running of the training business. These may include Training Managers, Operations Managers, Programme Managers, Admin Managers, Marketing Managers or Consultants (e.g. TNA or QA consultants) operating in CET Sector.
Entry requirements
- ES literacy level 6 and above
- Diploma qualification or Higher
- Learners will be required to bring along their laptops to access the pre-reading materials and e-Learning Guides, which will be emailed to learners 2 weeks before the start of the programme.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the programme, learners will be able to develop an operational process implementation action plan based on his/her real workplace scenario, with focus on these outcomes and:
- Explain the considerations for effective development and implementation of operational strategies in system or event processes
- Establish effective stakeholders engagement strategies
- Develop an Implementation Action Plan

Day 2: Process Implementation Action Plan

At the end of the 2 days, learners will be assessed on their understanding of the concepts through a submission of a 2000s word operational process implementation action plan. Successful learners will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Proficiency’. Unsuccessful learners can resubmit their report for reassessment (admin fee of $26.75 applies). If the learner is unable to pass assessment for the second time, they will be awarded with a ‘Certificate of Participation’.
