About this Course

Introduction

This qualification is intended for candidates who are working or intending to work in a job role that requires knowledge and understanding of statistical techniques and how they are used to extract information relating to business situations. It is also suitable for candidates who wish to progress to more advanced administrative, business and management qualifications such as the LCCI Level 3 and 4 Diplomas.

Duration:

18 lessons, 3 hours each

Total of 54 hours

Approximately 6 months

Objectives

The aims of this syllabus are to enable candidates to develop:

• A knowledge and understanding of more advanced statistical techniques

• The ability to apply this knowledge and understanding in solving business problems.

 Admission Criteria

• Be at least 16 years old of age upon enrolment.

• Have at least 5 GCE ‘O’ Level.

• Proficiency in verbal English.

• LCCI Level 2 Business Statistics or equivalent

*If you are not within the above criteria and keen to sign up for the course, you are required to submit your academic qualification with a cover letter justifying. Your application will be assessed by the centre and we would advise you accordingly.

Assessment / Graduation Requirement:

This qualification is 100% examinable. Candidates are required to clear the LCCI examination. Successful candidates will be awarded the level 3 Certificate in Business Statistics based on the achievement of the percentages and grades below.

• Pass 50%

• Merit 60%

• Distinction 75%

Class (Face-To-Face)

Class size will be kept to size of 6 - 10 students to ensure holistic learning.
