Managing and harnessing the talent and industry of employees has become the cornerstone to achieving an organisation's business goals. This starts with understanding the rights and obligations of the organisation as well as the employees under Singapore's legal framework. Whether it be dealing with individual contracts or as a group through the representation of trade unions, it is pivotal that managers, front line supervisors and HR professionals have a working knowledge of employment laws and guidelines governing the employer-employee relationship.

This two day program will equip participants with a comprehensive understanding and application of key features of Singapore's labour legislation enabling them to deal effectively with issues including coverage of the Employment Act, setting up and termination of contract of service, key employee terms and conditions of employment, rights and obligations in a company-union relationship, post retirement re-employment.
