Objectives
- Marketing is an integral part of business regardless of the nature of the industry. Today, a company’s success depends on its ability to identify and understand customers’ needs and meet those needs
- This course is designed to introduce our students to a broad range of management concepts required in this new knowledge-based economy with a focus on marketing
- Students will also complete a final year integrated marketing project which includes developing comprehensive marketing strategies. At the end of the programme, students will acquire leading and relevant marketing skills to become successful marketers
- Marketing is an exciting and dynamic career and graduates from the marketing programme will have abundant opportunities in a wide range of challenging fields such as advertising, conference and exhibition planning, direct marketing, sales promotions, public relations, product / marketing development, industrial sales, marketing research, retailing of fast moving consumer goods, and general marketing. In fact, all companies such as banks, hotels, airlines, government agencies etc. require marketing expertise to grow their business to be market leaders in their respective fields

Interested applicants must possess ONE of the following entrance requirements:
A full GCE 'A' Level certificate with 2 'A' and 2 'AO' passes
OR
Polytechnic Business diploma
OR
MDIS Advanced Diploma in Business Management
OR
Diploma from MDIS or other recognised local/overseas polytechnics or professional institutes
Applicants must be of age 18 and above.
Students with relevant business diplomas may apply for exemptions or direct entry into the second stage of the programme, subject to University's approval
Other equivalent qualification may be considered on a case by case basis
