About this Course

This workshop specifies the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for early childhood educators to communicate effectively with parents, family members and significant others while building and promoting strong and positive partnerships with families on the care and development of young children. The competency elements covered in this module are: Communicate positively with families on an on-going basis Collaborate with families about their childrens needs and their concerns Respect families cultural values and parenting styles Determine the best style and method of communication to suit the family context
