About this Course

All workplaces in Singapore are required to conduct risk assessments for their operations so as to identify, evaluate and control risks at work. It has been mandated under the Workplace Safety and Health framework to foster a proactive accident prevention culture. Workplace safety and health (WSH) trainers play a major role in contributing to safer and healthier workplaces Jointly developed with the WSH Institute, with the support of WSH Council, this SDU-accredited (pending approval) workshop is specially designed for WSH trainers as part of the WSH Train-the trainers (T3) Programme. Specialised technical modules infused with soft skills Discover innovative and effective ways of WSH training –Unlike traditional workshops that focus on transmitting technical knowledge in WSH, this workshop is designed with the WSH trainer’s perspective in mind. Soft skills for effective delivery of Risk Management (RM) training are infused into the workshop through the use of various training activities. This will equip WSH trainers with the know-how to engage and effectively impact their audience. Networking opportunities Share and learn from similar experiences – this workshop is exclusive for practising WSH trainers who bring a great deal of life experiences into the classroom. This is a valuable opportunity to reinforce current knowledge, discuss practical challenges, and unearth solutions as a team.
