About this Course
Technical training requires different tactics to design, develop and deliver as compared to non-technical soft skills training. It is a complex, challenging, unique, misunderstood and sometimes a frustrating process.
Most technical trainers and instructors are assigned to the job with no formal systematic training grounded on sound learning principles, concepts and practices.
Objectives
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to;
- Analyse, design, develop, organise and execute technical training programme
- Develop review exercise and evaluate the effectiveness of their effort
- Facilitate class discussion, interaction, deliver clear instructions and demonstrations
- Hands-on practice of training delivery and receive class feedback together with facilitator critique on instructional technique and tips on managing your participants
- Learn the fundamentals of classroom preparation, setting the learning environment and structuring your curriculum

Supervisors, Managers, Trainers, Instructors and subject matter experts who develops and/or conduct technical training.

Methodologies
To enhance learning effectiveness, hand on experience will be emphasised in this programme through role-plays in class presentation, group facilitation and class critique.
Case studies, group discussions and video support will also be used to enhance learning experience. Fun quizzes will be injected to provide formative assessment and a fun learning environment.
