Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Programme for Principals and Instructors

About this Course

The overall objective of this programme is to allow principals, instructors, and middle to senior government officials of education ministry from different countries to gain an insight into the TVET system of Singapore and learn about Institute of Technical Education (ITE)’s experience in its TVET administration and delivery.

This will be carried out through a programme which comprises of sharing sessions, interaction with ITE staff, and site visits to TVET institutions. At the end of the programme, participants will be required to share their learning journey and action plans for their own institutions.

The programme consists of 5 main components:

• Overview of TVET in Singapore

• ITE College Management

• ITE’s Holistic Hands-on, Minds-on, Hearts-on College Education

• Engaging with Partners and Stakeholders

• Sharing Sessions with ITE Management and Teaching Staff
