About this Course

This unit addresses the skills and knowledge required to promote innovative work practices in the delivery of people management/human capital services. It covers the identification of opportunities for innovation and processes for its promotion and implementation.

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify opportunities to enhance people management/human capital service delivery

  • Analyse people management/human capital performance data and identify areas of achievement and opportunities for growth and improvement in people management/human capital service delivery
  • Analyse trends and developments that may impact on people management/human capital service delivery
  • Communicate opportunities for change and innovation to prepare key personnel and systems for implementation
  • Prioritise opportunities to provide support and resources required for implementation

2.  Lead people management/human capital team’s commitment to implement workplace innovation

  • Lead people management/human capital team to develop or enhance processes to improve people management/human capital service delivery, which may include identifying appropriate behaviour
  • Define the standards of performance to direct the management of  the services and work to be conducted
  • Provide opportunities for individuals to provide feedback and explore ideas and opportunities for change and innovation
  • Implement practices designed to promote innovation

3. Monitor and evaluate innovative people management/human capital service delivery

  • Identify criteria to evaluate the performance of innovative people management/human capital service delivery
  • Gather measurement data and feedback by consulting with key stakeholders
  • Monitor internal and external influences and trends that may impact on people management/human capital services
  • Analyse data to refine people management/human capital services
