About this Course

Participants will experience and learn to: 1. Analyse the types of teams required and their value in achieving organisational goals 2. Identify and elect work team members and align roles, responsibilities, objectives and expectations of the work team to organisational goals 3. Communicate the roles, responsibilities, objectives and expectations to the work team and empower team members to accomplish them 4. Delegate tasks and allocate resources to facilitate work team towards the achievement of goals and objectives, taking into consideration diversity issues 5. Evaluate impact of task and role delegation among team members on team synergy and make adjustments where necessary 6. Encourage teamwork and foster commitment and sense of ownership among team members 7. Assess the barriers to group interaction and communication and establish infrastructure to facilitate knowledge management and work team coaching 8. Monitor and evaluate team progress and performance in achievement of goals and objectives 9. Communicate feedback to team using the most suitable means and data and provide recommendations to improve performance
