Course Objectives On successful completion of this programme, students will be able to: Master the essential knowledge and skills of a professional Chinese language teacher. Understand the contextual difference in teaching Chinese as an international language and as a community language, for the purpose of adopting a differentiated approach in pedagogy. Master the needed expertise to become a Chinese language teacher or school administrator, particularly in the region of Southeast Asia or countries using English as a major working language.
