This unit addresses the skills and knowledge to develop and implement voluntary and involuntary termination procedures in accordance with organisational objectives, contractual and legal requirements. It includes reviewing and developing a termination framework, establishing procedural guidelines for termination, facilitating the communication of the policy, leading the implementation of involuntary termination, monitoring the application of termination policies and evaluating procedural guidelines for termination.

 

1. Review termination policy and framework for alignment with business, legislative and contractual requirements

2. Develop voluntary and involuntary termination framework in consultation with relevant stakeholders

3. Establish procedural guidelines for the handling of voluntary and involuntary termination

4. Lead implementation of involuntary termination aligned to organisational and legislative requirements

5. Facilitate communication of the policy on voluntary and involuntary termination to raise awareness and understanding of policy

6. Monitor the application of voluntary and involuntary termination policies and framework for consistency and quality of service

7. Evaluate procedural guidelines to identify improvements to the handling of voluntary and involuntary termination
