About this Course

This unit addresses the knowledge andapplication skills to work with managers at alllevels of the organisation to develop their peoplemanagement skills. The unit includes developingframework and strategies to build knowledge ofhuman resource (HR) practices, leadingimplementation and evaluation of programmesto enable line manager competencies, setting upsystems and engaging key stakeholders toenable a culture of managers developing staffskills and capabilities.

1. Develop framework and strategies for line managers to develop key people management competencies in alignment with organisational objectives and culture.

2. Lead implementation of programmes to build line manager knowledge of relevant HR processes and organisational policies.

3. Lead evaluation of programmes to develop line manager competencies in people management and knowledge of relevant HR processes and organisational policies.

4. Set up systems and practices to coach line managers to manage staff performance and development for their team.

5. Engage key stakeholders to build a culture of people development and management in the organisation and strengthen people effectiveness
