The Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) was formed on 29 January 1985. This section provides an insight into the brief history of the Association, its objectives and declared mission. It also provides information on the people who are the main driving force behind the Association. The SSA is fully geared to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
This course is designed to explain the importance of the use of correct English Grammar in daily shipping business transactions and communications. In addition, some techniques and useful pointers in writing telexes, letters and memoranda, as well as presentation and analysis of numerical data in shipping situations, will be explained.
