WSQ Technical Theatre (Lighting)

About this Course

The objective of the course is to understand and apply the principles and methods of Stage Lighting. Understanding the different lighting fixtures and its use in the entertainment industry and their applications will let the new entrants to the industry work safely and productively. The course will be highly interactive in format and will leverage on participants input and experience to create output of relevant and usefulness. Participants will gain an understanding of lighting technology, safe operation and rigging. Specific use and reference will be made to theatre lighting and related technologies to produce an event or theatre production. Summative as well as formative assessments will be applied to better understand the learning process.
