About this Course

Course Objective

  • The aim of the course is to provide course participants with the requisite WAH knowledge to assess and manage work at height activities so that they are carried out properly and safely.
  • Identify, explain and apply the relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Legislations / Approved Code of Practice / Singapore Standards applicable to Wo(WAH)
  • Conduct risk assessment on safety & health hazards and implement preventive measures related to WAH
  • Implement a Fall Prevention Plan (FPP)
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of Fall Prevention Plan.
  • Demonstrate competency in donning, checking and correcting of individual Fall Protection equipment and first line response in emergency

12 hours (including 3 hours of assessment)
