The course will require physical activity that is more than the usual of what you may encounter in normal daily workplace. AVANTA has the right to exclude any trainee from training at any stage, for the safety of the trainee.

Course Objective

The aim of the course is to provide course participants with the requisite WAH knowledge to supervise and manage work at height activities so that they are carried out properly and safely. At the end of the course, the participants shall be able to:

  • Identify the various Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legislations / codes of practice / approved codes of practice / Singapore standards applicable to WAH
  • Conduct risk assessment on safety & health hazards and implement preventive measures related to WAH
  • Implement a Fall Protection Plan (FPP)
  • Demonstrate competency in donning, checking and correcting of Individual Fall Protection equipment and first line response in emergency
