About this Course

Course Aim

The Work-At-Heights (WAH) Course for Supervisors is aimed at providing participants with the requisite WAH knowledge so that they can perform their WAH activities properly and safely. It is a mandatory course for individuals who are assigned to carry out work at height supervision in the workplace.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify relevant Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legislation / approved codes of practice / Singapore standards applicable to WAH and roles and responsibilities.
  • Conduct risk assessment for WAH and implement preventive measures related to WAH
  • Implement a Fall Prevention Plan
  • Demonstrate competency in donning, checking and correcting of Individual Fall Protection equipment and first line response in emergency

Target Audience

The course would be appropriate for individuals assigned to supervise work at heights in the workplace.

Assumed skills and knowledge

Participants are assumed to have the following:

Workplace literacy and numeracy Level 4 or equivalent

Relevant industrial experience

Course Duration

12 Hours
