About this Course
This course covers relevant theories, models and instructional design principles to prepare learners for their roles as trainers. They will learn how to select suitable instructional methods and activities based on the trainees’ profile, organise their lessons, and build a positive environment for learning. Learners will have the opportunity to prepare a lesson plan and conduct the lesson in class.
The course will cover the following areas:
- Prepare lesson plan
- Prepare instructional resources
- Set up training facilities
- Conduct classroom lessons
- Provide feedback to learners
- Evaluate effectiveness of lesson conducted
- Assessment (Participants are required to sit for a practical assessment and a 1 hour written test.)
Who Should Attend
Supervisors, coaches, trainers and anyone whose job scope involves training.
Admission Guidelines
Participants are to have at least a Grade C6 in English at the GCE 'O' level to be able to benefit from the course.
Certification
Participants will be awarded with the Industry Trainer Module Certificate if they satisfy at least 80% of the attendance and pass the assessment at the end of the course.
Duration
25.5 hours (4 days; 9.00am to 5.00pm and 9.00am to 4.30pm on last day)
