Slinging and Rigging Safety Course for General Factories

About this Course

A rigger is one who prepares and ties the load before it is hoisted up by the overhead crane. He has the vital duty of ensuring that the load is safely secured and does not slip or fall during lifting operation. The appointed rigger also has to coordinate with the lifting machine operator to maneuver the load. Thus, the safe use of overhead crane depends very much on how the load is being rigged and lifted.
