On Completion of this course, the trainees should be able to common Hot work hazards, the safety measures to prevent accidents when performing hot-work & Importance of Permit To Work system

Who should attend this Course?

This course is designed for all workers working in the shipyard in the Hot Work trade.

  2. Characteristics of flammable substances

  3. How vapours/gases can accumulate in confined spaces

  4. How fires/explosions are caused

  5. Case studies on two shipyard fire and explosion accidents

  6. Safety measures for preventing fires/explosions
