About the course:

To provide participants with the basic understandings of workplace safety & health hazards in the ship building and repair industry.

To highlight to the participants, the measures to prevent incidents / accidents in the ship building and repair industry.


Legal Requirement:

FACTORIES (SHIPBUILDING AND SHIPREPAIR) REG R23(1) 

No Shipyard Workers (General) shall carry out hazardous work in a shipyard or on board a ship in the harbour unless he has undergone Shipyard Safety Instruction Course for Workers (General Trade) course approve by the Chief Inspector.


Entry Requirements:

100% attendance is required. Latecomers are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED into the class.
