About this Course

Advanced Neuroscience Nursing 1 (75 hrs) This module allows the student to recognise and evaluate significant neuromedical and neurorehabilitation nursing issues. It permits the development of effective nursing interventions in the care of individuals experiencing these problems and their significant others. NS11 Advanced Neuroscience Nursing 2 (90 hrs) This module allows the learners to recognise and evaluate significant trauma and surgical issues associated with the nervous system. It permits the development of effective nursing interventions in the care of individuals experiencing these problems and their significant others. Learners will apply the process of advance care planning, care transition and intermediate and long-term care in neuroscience nursing
