About this Course

The course aims to enable students to stay relevant in the rapidly changing healthcare environment, specifically in the area of day-to-day management of critically ill patients, undertaking therapeutic procedures in collaboration with medical professionals. The course also seeks to equip the nurses to be effective clinicians, researchers, educators and administrators. The scope of practice includes, but is not limited to contact with appropriate role models at the bedside and during didactic presentation and participation in ward rounds, engaging in research projects, exposed to management and problem solving in a multi-disciplinary critical care units.
