About this Course

There has been growing concerns about our environment and limited natural resources around the world. Energy efficiency and sustainable design will help to reduce energy consumption and environmental development which have been blamed for global warming and climate change. This course is targeted at diploma or degree holders who wish to develop their competency in sustainable design concepts, energy management and audit, application of energy efficiency technologies and energy economy. Upon graduating from the course, graduates will be able to: Assist in the conducting of energy audit measurements and data-logging Undertake basic efficiency evaluation of energy & utility systems Compare energy norms with existing energy consumption levels Collect and analyse measured data Assist in the preparation of measurements, monitoring and verification report Understand and apply sustainable design concepts Compare and apply energy management assessment standards
