Requirements
Participants are required to fulfill the following criteria before a First Aid Certificate is awarded.
- Attain 100% attendance in order to sit for the test.
- For Theory test the passing criteria is 80% for CPR + AED and 70% for Occupational First Aid. As for practical test must attain competency standard.
- Those who fail to attain will be allowed a 2nd attempt on the same test date.
- Those who fail on the 2nd attempt will be required to take a retest on another date.
Certification
▸ The certificate is valid for 2 years with effect from 1 Nov 2014
▸ The Occupational First Aid course is accredited by the Ministry of Manpower(MOM).
Duration
24 hours (2.5 days)
For Whom
Compulsary course for company to have First Aider as stipulated in the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
Workplace safety and health officers who are required to undergo the continuing professional development program (CPD) can also participate in this course with 23 points.
