Progression Opportunities

Nitec in Floristry graduates with good results may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics. 

Nitec in Floristry graduates with a GPA of 2.8 and above may also apply for progression to related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE.

Career Prospects

Nitec in Floristry graduates are employed by floristry retail outlets. They can also be employed by wholesale florist establishments as well as interior-scape and event organizing companies.  Some of the job titles that may be held by graduates include Assistant Florist, Floral Assistant and Florist Technician.

To apply for the Nitec in Floristry course, you need to have:

GCE ‘O’ level grades in any 2 subjects
