Apply for this niche course and learn how to move people via lifts and escalators! You will learn to diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify defects and faults in lift and escalator installations, perform lift rescue operations, maintain and replace lift and escalator equipment.

  • Perform lift and escalator routine and periodic maintenance works
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot defects and faults in lift and escalator installations, including performing lift rescue operations when required

Progression Opportunities

Nitec in Facility Technology (Vertical Transportation) graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics. 

Nitec in Facility Technology (Vertical Transportation) graduates with a GPA of 2.3 and above may also apply for progression to related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE.
