Nitec in Community Care & Social Services graduates with good results may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics. 

Nitec in Community Care & Social Services graduates with a GPA of 3.5 and above may also apply for progression to the Diploma in Social Services (Social Work) course offered by Nanyang Polytechnic.

Nitec in Community Care & Social Services graduates with a GPA of 2.8 and above may also apply for progression to related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE.

Career Prospects

Nitec in Community Care and Social Services graduates are employed in Day Care Centres, Senior Activity Centres, Neighbourhood Links, Welfare Homes, Nursing Homes, Community Hospitals, Community Rehabilitation Centres and Integrated Rehabilitation Centres. Entry Requirements

To apply for the Nitec in Community Care & Social Services course, you need to have:

GCE ‘O’ level grades in any 2 subjects

Or

GCE ‘N’ level passes in English Language, Mathematics or Science and 1 other subjects
