About this Course

Object oriented Design Patterns are about quality of the software being developed. Design Patterns improve quality through documented and proven solutions to common problems. Re-using and applying design pattern solutions to new applications reduces the development cost and lends itself to extensibility. This course provides an in-depth look into how experts apply design skills. An overview of design patterns from the book - Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software; aka ‘Gang of Four’ and detailed discussions on specific design patterns will be presented. In addition, principles of good object oriented design and heuristics will be dealt with.
